This large, round pendant will certainly draw attention when worn! Wear it with a thick silver chain, black leather or use it as a centerpiece in a beaded necklace.

The piece is completely hand constructed, with hand cut embellishments soldered on. It is hollow inside, but closed in the back. It does show wear, both on the front and in back.

The blue stone in the middle, lapis lazuli, has carved script. Metal content: probably mostly bleached brass with some silver.

The Pashtun are the largest ethnic majority of Afghanistan and this is one of their jewelry samples.

Estimated age: 1970’s

Dimensions:
2″ diameter
Metric: 5.2 cm diameter
