Scarce 1910s issue of the French La Femme Chic magazine, the August 1918 edition. Oversized format, with several full-page highly detailed fashion illustrations. Discussions of the latest styles and dress details, including millinery, trimmings, etc. 1910s advertisements included. The magazine encapsulates the quintessence of Parisian / French women’s fashion at the tail end of the World War I era. 14.4″ x 9.75″. 16 pages. There is overall age to the paper, with the most wear to the covers. Some of the pages inside are partially coming away from the stapled spine. No missing pages, no damage to the pages as such, and the text and illustrations are largely unaffected.
