This handsome finely made inkwell would make an attractive desk accessory for any lover of letters. Octagonally shaped, with a hinged lid, and a white ceramic insert. Wonderful warm coloration to the wood, and nice grain detail. Measures 3.75″ across and 3″ in height. Some light overall age, some light occasional surface wear. Ink stains on the ceramic insert and the lid interior. The hinge has a tiny bit of mobility; opens and closes well and securely. Old cloth pad on the underside, in teal green.
