Original antique hand-colored fashion plate engraving from a French ladies magazine. Circa early 1840s. Features beautiful head-to-toe outfits. 9 1/4″ x 6″. Rich, saturated colors. The text at the bottom mentions the various boutiques where individual fashion items could be sourced. This 180+ paper item has survived in remarkable condition for the age, showing minimal signs of age or wear. It appears to be lightly trimmed along one or two of the edges.
