These earrings will connect you to a traditional practice of many shamans in the Amazon. Each cross-section of an ayahuasca vine has a pattern as unique as the ceremonies. Some pieces are lacquered to give them a shine while others retain the natural wood matte look. Different models are adorned with a two-toned huayruru seed bead and dangles made from small pieces of quill or bamboo.
These earrings are made by skilled artisans from Iquitos who have worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years. The French hooks are made with non-allergenic material.
Please remember that each pair of these earrings is unique and may vary from the photos shown.
