Penedes art textil belongs to our interior desing collection Territories. Each one is worked in a range of colours. Penedes is multicolored mixed with green color.

Our interior design line responds to the growing demand for textile wall hangings. We want to dress and decor and give warmth to vital spaces, whether family homes, as public and private spaces.

We value the pure lines where the prominence and accent is placed on color and texture, which we get by painting, dyeing and sew the silk.

The approx size is 48×50 inch, 123x127cm.

Includes a sleeve sewn – just add your own rod/dowel for easy hanging of 48,5inch or 124cm.

To keep the piece clean, it can be vacuumed from time to time. It can be washed gently by hand with soft soap. Remove water excess rolling it between a towel. Let it dry flat. If you have doubts you can contact us.

Our handmade painted tapestries are not mass produced products. Please note that it can be a little difference between screen and real color, as color settings of each screen are adjusted.

We are two sisters sharing a studio in Barcelona, Spain. We came from different areas professionally. Cecília, a Technical Draughtswoman, worked as a Purchasing Manager. Mercè, Chemical Engineer, in the Department of the Environment. In 2000, we decided to make a living from our passion. We started with silk crafts an in 2006 began to paint silk for textiles. Uniting these two skills, silk painting and textile art, opened to us an immense field in which to experiment. Our expertise has led us to teaching workshops and we have a Youtube channel with tutorials. Our shop on Etsy focuses on our wall art and we have a shop on our website with accessories. Visit both! https://desedamas.com/ and https://www.etsy.com/shop/SILKARTdesedamas. We do accept commissions. Don’t hesitate to contact us.
