This large oval pendant will certainly draw attention when worn! Wear it with a thick silver chain, black leather or use it as a centerpiece in a beaded necklace.
The piece is completely hand constructed, with hand cut embellishments soldered on. It is hollow inside, but closed in the back. It does show wear, both on the front and in back. The red showing through the silver cut work is glass.
The Kazakh descend from the Turkik lines. One branch claims direct descendency from Alexander the Great! As a nomadic people, their jewelry and carpets have also made their way into Afghanistan.
Estimated age: 50-75 years
2.25″ wide (at widest point) x 1.5″ long
Metric: 6 cm wide x 3.8 cm long
