Thewonderlandofwool – Nina Bezpyata – Ukraine

Nina is friends with Olena Vinokurova who was funded through the Amiga Fund three years ago. Olena is very active with the creative community around Lviv, especially with other felters. Supporting artists through the sale of their work has been a life line during these awful times of war. Nina has a beautiful shop on Etsy where she sells shawls, scarves, wall out and other accessories. She would like to join Artizan Made as a member and we would be delighted to have her with us! An Amiga Fund Sponsor can help by paying for her first year of fees ($280) and then she will stay on for free as long as the war is ongoing. More info
Nina’s application:
I create unique scarves and jewelry from wool, silk combined with various natural fibers: eri silk, muga silk, tussah silk, bamboo fibers, flax fibers, nettle.
I have been creating and selling my products for 9 years.
My biggest problem right now is instability… It’s hard to work when there’s no electricity… When there’s no restful sleep…
Artizan Made can help me:
Introduce my brand to an audience actively searching for handmade products.
Increase online search.
Build trust with discerning consumers.
Emphasize my craftsmanship and authenticity
I love combining wool and silk to create unique textures and one-of-a-kind scarves. The process of making new fabrics by hand brings me joy and allows me to express my creativity.
In five years, I hope to continue creating beautiful, unique pieces and build a sustainable business that supports my creativity. I want my scarves to bring warmth and joy to people all over the world. I would like to have a strong international audience and perhaps collaborate with designers or boutiques that value the art of handcrafting.
