Handmade Palestine

Morgan Cooper is the founder of Handmade Palestine which has a gorgeous website featuring handmade products, including soap. They also support an olive tree grove where you can adopt a tree to help maintain the project. Having Handmade Palestine as a member will enrich our Market with their beautiful embroidery and other fair trade products and help educate our communities about what is happening in Palestine.
-Rachel Biel, founder of Artizan Made
Handmade Palestine is more than a social enterprise in Palestine. It is a lifeline for artisans, a bridge between heritage and global audiences, and a collective act of resilience. At its heart, it preserves Palestinian craft while creating fair, sustainable livelihoods for communities facing extraordinary challenges.
We began in 2014 as a small display and slowly and organically grew into a website supporting artisans and building our own in house crafting projects
We are excited to network through Artizan Made and hopefully make new allies and find new customers.
One of our biggest challenges is shipping from Occupied Palestine to anywhere outside.
I especially love designing with and supporting artisans (especially visiting them and being hands on), creating new bundles and definitely providing customer service–engaging with customers is the best part of it!
I’d like to see our project more systematized and financially sustainable so I can step back while knowing the artisans can still rely on our work to generate their income. I would put my energy into a fashion label.
