Avalon’s Lady Of The Lake Arthurian Spirit Bag Magical Shoulder Bag
Handmade by Jannelle Olmstead of Something Else Studio
Description
Congratulations! The Spirit Bag you have selected is named for the Lady Of The Lake, sometimes identified as Viviane, Niniane or Nimue and she is foster mother of the Arthurian first knight Lancelot. This mysterious Fairy Queen was widely reported to have been Merlin’s lover, and she imprisoned the sage in a cave or tree when the time was right. The evidence points to Merlin being agreeable to enter this stag of contemplation and retreat and she later became King Arthur’s chief advisor in Merlin’s place. The Lady Of The Lake is connected to the mystic land of Avalon and she is believed to be one of the three Queens who took the mortally wounded Arthur to Avalon after his last battle. This powerful fairy Queen is a potent protector, and a very good choice to have on your arm.
