Terra cotta pottery has been a favorite in the kitchen for 10,000 years. Today, our potters still build timeless functional works from the durable clay with a contemporary style. Made in Oregon, each tray is shaped by hand, intricately painted by hand with multiple underglazes, provided with a durable lead-free clear glaze, and fired multiple times for a strong, permanent finish.

With a black backdrop and glossy finish, the Old Romany motif features an intricate, hand-painted floral pattern with old world charm. Heavy and substantial, the countertop canister stands 8.5″ and holds up to 4 and 1/2 cups (36 oz) – splendid for storing coffee, sugar, seeds, and more. The elegant canister includes a companion scooping spoon, also handmade in Oregon. Cast in solid pewter, the scoop has a 1 tablespoon volume. The canister made with lead-free glazes and safe for use in the dishwasher.
