Description

This silk painting was inspired by an attempt to hike the Camino de Santiago across Spain.   I didn’t make it that far, due to my knees and hips…but I did manage to hike over the Pyreenes and there you can find a herd of wild horses.  There must have been over 50.   The one in the painting was from a photo I took.  The mountain that he is standing on it made up of colorful tiles.
