Indigo Hmong Batik Hemp Pillow

Description

I bought some yardage of Hmong fabric and made this pillow. The fabric is handwoven hemp that was batiked and then dyed with indigo. The blue is closer to the first image, a dark navy, not bright. I embellished the borders by attaching ostrich egg discs and glass silver seed beads. There is one disc missing, but I have more and will add it before shipping.

The caramel colored fabric and brown backing are both thick ultrasuede. The closure is a flap on the back, see last photo.  Insert not included. 15″ square.

Handwash and dry flat, if needed.
