Lincoln Park
An art quilt inspired by a park in Seattle
$350.00
Description
This art quilt was inspired by walking through Lincoln Park in Seattle. Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains are blue in the distance. My daughter tossed out some peanuts and got some crows to follow along. Here, three crows perch in a madrone tree and one finishes off the peanut. Their feathers are stitched with patterns inspired by Pacific Northwest traditional art. Other people on the path jog, walk their dog, or enjoy the summer sunshine.
The leaves are dimensional, and yes that’s a real peanut shell in the bird’s beak.
The quilt is wired on the back, with a slat in a sleeve, ready to hang.
