Love Birds Lace Dress, Asymmetrical Boho

Description

This dress is made from vintage basic soft cotton tablecloth, mostly hand sewn. It has a large applique of sequin love birds on their perch and a recycled yoke from a vintage Indian dress – lots of sparkle and detail. The front hem area has long recycled cotton fronds and textile/chiffon fragments. It can be worn over a plain slip for more coverage or lacy underwear, leggings etc. The hem is uneven and has raw edges, around sleeves too.

It suits sizes medium to large. Please note the mannequin it is on is a size small – 37 bust….. 28.5″ bust and 39.5″ hips and is short, even without her head! Please use the following measurements of the actual dress for a better guide:

Bust: 44″
Waist: 44″
Hips: 50″ (lots of stretch here – on the bias)
Length from: 37″ to approx. 43″+
