Encaustic and oil of a swimming horse.
5 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ Framed
$200.00
Description
Encaustic and oil of a brown swimming horse. Inspired by my time working at a horse ranch swimming horses for their therapy and exercise.
Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using a heated encaustic medium to which colored pigments have been added for creating artworks. Molten medium is applied to a surface—usually prepared wood, and then heated with a heat gun to fix it.
I have been professionally painting for over 30 years. I’ve had numerous art publishers (Martin Lawrence Galleries, John Szoke Art Publisher, Galerie-F, and Liberty Puzzles). I paint watercolors, silk and enjoy encaustics as well as drawing and sketching. I am originally from Los Angeles and now live in Cornwall, NY. My website is: https://www.LinneaPergola.com
