I order the silk from one guy 2 months in advance. He sends me a report when my silkworm pupae are ready.

And I get the curls from New Zealand. Experienced felt makers (like me) have their “own” sheep, we even know the sheep’s names. So be sure that your scarves, shawls and vests come from happy and healthy sheep!

You can hand wash these Felted Shawl in warm water, using wool safe detergents. Do not rub wool when washing. Felting gets rid of all dirt very easily.
You don’t need to wring it.
After washing, rinse it and drain it by wrapping it in a towel

– hand wash warm
– use mild soap
– do not tumble dry; lay flat to air

I will gladly pack product as a gift and select the color of the packing paper, corresponding to the color of the product.
