Description
Tapestry Crochet Mosaic Throw — Purple Twilight
Purple Twilight. There are times when the setting sun’s last rays enshroud the landscape in a mystical purple light. And the silhouettes of the trees draw graphic patterns against the sky. Do you love these moments?

The size of the rug 173cm/68in x 55cm/21in allows you to use it in multiple ways. It can be laid on a chair or on a sofa to add a dab of texture and color to your interior. You can use it as a stole if you like. It is made mostly of wool and is very warm. It can also be used as a wrap overskirt, a silver or gold plated kilt needle is supplied with each rug. The Purple Twilight can also be hung on a wall as a piece of textile art.
Unlike the knitted jacquards the crocheted jacquard does not have stranding on the left side of the fabric. Both sides look almost the same.
If you wish to have the mosaic rug hanged on the wall, please let me know in the message to seller when purchasing — I will supply the hardware for hanging.
All items in this shop are my original design and made entirely and exclusively by me.
A small sachet with dried lavender (organically grown in my garden) will accompany the rug. Please let me know if you do not like lavender.
Please bear in mind, that even though I try to keep the tones on the photos as close to the original as it is possible — they still might differ a bit from real life due to monitor settings etc.

Tija lives in Latvia and says:
“Seeing colours, feeling textures, painting with fiber all that makes me feel alive. Tapestry crochet has become my passion. Within it, I can unite all forms of creativity I have loved and learned since my childhood. After graduating from art school, where I learned academic painting and drawing, I studied textile arts. And now I paint my wearable tapestries using the crochet hook as a brush and all kinds of fibers, yarns and threads. -Tija”
