This pretty, floaty eclectic dress is made up of many hours of mainly hand sewing, varying fabrics including vintage cotton fabrics, floral silk, botanical print chiffon, vintage embroidery, vintage lace and more.
The top part is very intricate with hand embroidered edge, gathers, tiny love heart buttons and below the bust area, I have hand-smocked, ruched, appliqued and embroidered the delicate bodice panel which is slightly sheer in parts.

There are some frayed edges, floaty silks, asymetrical, some fringing to an underneath layer at the back. the back of the dress is shorter than the front. Lots of pretty buttons decorate one side. There is a pink velvety pom pom piece with tattered fringing. The back of the dress has vintage crochet in purple, that is left to hang free from the silk skirt area below. Layering this dress over a thin slip will work well, oor other garments but is also perfect for wearing as it is in the warmer climes 🙂

It will suit sizes medium to large, please use the following measurements for a better guide:

Bust: 34″ – 40″ (this is quite a gathered area)
Waist: stretches to 37″ (allow extra room for a nice fit)
Hips: flares to 50″+
Length at front: approx. 42″
Length at back: from 34″+
