Sedona

Description

Sedona  is a square, canvas-mounted art quilt with a swirl of curves as its focal point. The clay-like colors in the curves–plus a section of green–reminded me of the landscape in Arizona. The purple background gives a nice contrast reiminiscent of the beautiful sunsets and rock formations in that area. I stitched swirls and jigsaw puzzle pieces into the quilt for texture. Created with hand dyed cottons from Cherrywood Fabrics.

Mounted on painted black canvas with a wire on the back for easy hanging.

I create all my work in my home studio overlooking a lake in Reston, VA. Each wall hanging is quilted individually on my sewing machine. The designs are stitched freehand, with no computer program and no marking ahead of time–just me using the machine’s needle and thread to draw out the designs in my head.

Care: Avoid hanging in direct sunlight. To remove dust, brush lightly with a lint roller.

Return policy: Enjoy your new art quilt in your home or office for seven days from the day you receive it. If you find it doesn’t suit your space in that time period, let me know and return it, insured for the purchase price, at your expense and I will refund the purchase price.
