A necklace designed for either men or women.

Multicolored color scheme

19-21″ adjustable necklace with a brass focal of Sanofa, an Adinkra symbol meaning approximately “Learn from your past mistakes”.

Ghana brass openwork beads. Ghana Krobo powdered glass recycled and painted glass beads. Ethiopian brass spacer beads. Krobo eye beads, Czech white heart beads and more. Brass clasp, extender chain and findings.

The pendant and openwork brass beads are made by the lost wax process and every one is unique. The openwork metal beads are made by the Ashante and Baule people who are in Ghana and neighboring areas. The Krobo glass powder bead patterns imitate the trade beads imported into Africa from Venice.

Tribal and ethnic style necklaces are definitely becoming a major trend. They are colorful and their history and production is an interesting story. Unlike any necklace anywhere else.
