3D Print of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

Description

This was originally a watercolor and ink and was inspired by my time living in Puerto Rico for a year.  I lived in Ocean Park and often went to Old San Juan to sketch and take photos.  It’s a very colorful and vibrant city with lots of restaurants, bars and apartments.

This 3d print is made by printing 3 giclees and carefully building up the images into a 3d image by cutting out areas and gluing foam board under the cut out pieces.  It is a  time consuming project but the results are really unique.
