Description

The butterfly design was created using free motion embroidery on top of two pieces of aqua embroidery stabilizer, with scrap threads sandwiched in between. Once the embroidery was complete, the stabilizer was rinsed away and the butterfly was left to dry. The finished butterfly was then attached to a red bead necklace that was sourced from a thrift shop, giving the piece a vintage feel.
