Guardians (1700 y.o., Ancient Rome)

Description

Sapphire and pearl Guardians necklace has unique artefact: an authentic Ancient Roman copper coin from 4th century (316 – 337 AD). The face of the coin depicts Constantine The Great profile, while the back shows two soldiers holding two standards. Reverse shows “GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS” meaning “The glory of the army”.

nElena Nahum Leroy gently restored the coin and added hot enamel for more beautiful appearance and metal protection.
