Warrior Bone Jacket & Hat, Sulawasi

Description

This is a traditional warrior jacket from the Indonesian island of Sulawasi. It has made a fine display in my home for more than twenty years. The outer layer is shaped buffalo bone and makes a fine defense against arrows. The hat is carved wood with buffalo horn and feathers.

51″ tall, the width of the hat is 30″.
