Golden Ginkgos Bracelet
Golden beauty of ginkgo leaf in a stitched bracelet
The ginkgo tree is known for its beautiful fan-shaped leaves, which turn bright yellow in autumn. It is an ancient species, which first appeared over 290 million years ago. My “thread sculpture” method was used to stitch everything you see in this bracelet, using gold and silver metallic threads. The leaves float above the silver stems. It has a self-closure: fold the end leaf and tuck it through a space, to fit your wrist. Maximum length is 8 inches. Sturdy!
Fiber art for the wall, decorative objects, and fiber art jewelry. Most pieces are made with my signature “thread sculpture” technique, because fiber art is unique!
